It's hard to see your child but not be able to hug him.

Olena was happy when she found out that she was pregnant in January 2023. She already has an older son, Kіrіl, but she always dreamed of having more children in the family.

Olena was under medical supervision, went to work and expected that she would have a child at the beginning of autumn. She dreamed of taking him in her arms and reliving those happy moments of the first days of motherhood. But this did not happen.

On July 29, I woke up at five in the morning and felt that my water had broken. We got together and quickly went to the hospital. I gave birth to Bohdanchyk in the seventh month with a weight of 1300 grams.

Due to premature birth, the boy's lungs had not fully developed. Doctors transferred the baby to the intensive care unit and connected him to an ALV device purchased with UNITED24 contributions. The boy stayed there for a week, and Olena could only watch her son from afar.

These are very disturbing moments when you see your child, but you can't hug him, you can't feed him, you can't fully take care of him. After the ALV we were in the hospital for another month under the supervision of doctors.

Little Bohdan is now 8 months old and weighs 7300 grams. Growing up as a healthy child and developing well.
