14.08.2023 · Announcements

The UNITED24 fundraising platform, Come Back Alive, the Foundation for Competent Assistance to the Ukrainian Army, and monobank have launched the Operation Unity project. It aims to provide the Ukrainian army with 10,000 FPV drones, alongside an ammunition package worth 235,000,000 UAH.

Operation Unity: UNITED24, Come Back Alive and monobank are fundraising 10,000 FPV drones for the Ukrainian Defence Forces

"This war is a war of technology. Starlinks, naval drones, situational awareness systems, UAVs — all of these are changing the situation on the battlefield. The importance of easy-to-use and inexpensive kamikaze drones is hard to underestimate. That is why we are pleased to announce a collection that fulfills two tasks at the same time — in addition to fundraising itself, it emphasizes the importance of consolidation. Operation Unity is a good example of a joint initiative of major players in fundraising towards a common goal. We are confident that dozens of Ukrainian companies and hundreds of thousands of donors from all over the world will join us,"

Mykhailo Fedorov, Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Education, Science and Technology - Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.

10,000 FPV drones worth 178,000,000 UAH will be purchased abroad. In Ukraine, they will be equipped with an ammunition package worth 57,000,000 UAH. The procurement of the kamikaze drones and their delivery to the troops will be carried out by the Come Back Alive Foundation.

"Operation Unity is our answer to one of today's most popular requests from the military - attack drones. Together with the UNITED24 fundraising platform and monobank, we will not only purchase 10,000 FPV drones: all of them will have combat components - thermobaric and cumulative fragmentation ammunition. Such attack drones have proved themselves well on the battlefield, destroying dozens of enemy armored vehicle units and burning hundreds of occupants from their fortifications,"

commented Taras Chmut, Head of the Come Back Alive Foundation.

The project organizers will raffle off special prizes among those who will donate towards drones. You can win a battle flag raised in the recently liberated village of Piatykhatky in Zaporizhzhia, meetings with UNITED24 ambassadors, 100 platinum monobank cards, five of which have 100,000 UAH on deposit, etc.

"Since the beginning of the full-scale war, over 25 billion hryvnias have been raised for charity via mono Jars. At the same time, we see how much more difficult it has become for donors and foundations that help Ukraine during the great war. Therefore, we're not only joining forces, but also adding lots to the fundraiser that should give it a push and become our way of saying thank you to all of those who continue to support the Ukrainian army,"

said Oleg Gorohovsky, Co-Founder of monobank.
