German Content Creator Tim Vollert Joins UNITED24’s Sky Defense Fundraiser to Raise €200K

On May 8th, the Day of Remembrance and Victory over Nazism in World War II, 5 German content creators joined UNITED24’s Sky Defense campaign. Their shared goal of raising €200K is to provide everything needed for Ukraine’s air defense systems to intercept russian aerial threats.

The campaign has continued to grow. Johnny ‘War and Tactic’ joined the initiative on May 15th, Alexander ‘GEOPOL’ Kortan and Tommy Kay joined in on June 26th, and today, Tim Vollert becomes its 9th creator.

Tim is an award-winning author, podcaster and science influencer from the city of Goettingen.  

He is the biggest Tiktok livestreamer in all German-speaking countries, covering topics including astrophysics, anthropology and biology. Across his social media platforms, his content reaches more than 90 million impressions each month.

Tim first traveled to Ukraine in early April 2022 to deliver humanitarian aid, motivated by the belief that he and a friend could not simply stand by while war unfolded. Tim returned to Ukraine once again the following month.

After over 4 years, the people of Ukraine are still paying a high price to defend not only their freedom, but also our values and freedom. russia has shown time and time again that they consider both our nations as their enemy, as their armies commit massacres against civilians. It is in everyone’s absolute interest to support Ukraine and everyone defending it.
