Medical Aid: Tetyana Chemizova's story

27.04.2023

Tetyana Chemizova has been working as an ambulance paramedic for more than 15 years. When the full-scale war began, she remained in Mykolaiv and continued to save lives.

Medical Aid: Tetyana Chemizova's story

"If people come to work with an ambulance, they don't go anywhere afterwards. There are adventurers and humanists here, very different people, but there are no random persons. Everyone is like one family."

Thanks to UNITED24 donors, 12 ambulances have already been dispatched to the Mykolaiv Regional Emergency Medical Center.

"We work 24 hours a day. No sleep, no rest. We go to Kherson almost every shift to pick up the wounded. And it's not just one vehicle, sometimes three or five. There are not enough doctors, not enough staff. Almost all hospitals have been damaged. This ambulance is very important to us. The ALV device came in handy recently; many of the wounded have had a tracheostomy or are on an intubation tube. Without this device, we would not be able to transport them."

We bow to our heroic Ukrainian doctors! Support them.
