$24 000 in support of Ukrainian medics from Barbra Streisand

Our ambassador Barbra Streisand donated $24,000 to UNITED24's Medical program, supporting medical workers who save lives every day in wartime conditions.

Ukrainian doctors and nurses are working at the limits of what is possible: under shelling, to the sound of air alerts, on the frontlines, in operating rooms during blackouts...

They do not stop, even when danger is near; even when exhaustion has been building up for months. Their work is a daily feat. It is thanks to their dedication and courage that thousands of people have a chance at life.

We are sincerely grateful to Barbra Streisand for her support of Ukraine and Ukrainian medics; for her solidarity and compassion, which are so important today.
