1. General Provisions
In accordance with the applicable legislation of Ukraine, funds collected through the United24 platform are voluntary contributions (charitable donations) and are directed towards financing activities related to repelling armed aggression against Ukraine and addressing its consequences, ensuring national security and defense, supporting recovery, development and reconstruction efforts in Ukraine, and providing humanitarian assistance. These funds are allocated to the following accounts:

• the special account to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine (account beneficiary – the National Bank of Ukraine);
• the account for the needs of education and science (account beneficiary – the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine);
• the account for the needs of healthcare (account beneficiary – the Ministry of Health of Ukraine);
• the account for financing humanitarian demining activities (account beneficiary – the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine);
• the Destroyed Property and Infrastructure Restoration Fund account (account beneficiary – the Ministry for Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine).

The funds are transferred directly to the accounts opened with the National Bank of Ukraine and are used by the respective ministries and other government bodies for their intended purposes, in accordance with the Procedure for the Use of Accounts for Attracting Voluntary Contributions (Charitable Donations) in Support of Ukraine “UNITED24”, approved by Resolution No. 472 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated April 19, 2022 (as amended). This mechanism ensures the effective and transparent use of all voluntary contributions (charitable donations).

2. Disclaimer regarding account selection
Before making a voluntary contribution (charitable donation), we recommend ensuring that the account you have selected – opened with the National Bank of Ukraine for the purpose of collecting voluntary contributions (charitable donations) in support of Ukraine under the UNITED24 initiative – aligns with your intended purpose.

3. Payment confirmation
Please retain the receipt or other electronic proof of your voluntary contribution (charitable donation), as it may be required to confirm the payment if necessary.

4. Refund policy
The terms and conditions for refunds of funds credited to the accounts listed in Section 1 of this Notice are governed by the public offer agreements of the payment service providers processing the respective transactions.

Please note that in line with NBU Board Decision No. 473 On Amendments to NBU Board Decision No. 430 dated 30 August 2022, the NBU does not refund the amounts credited to the special account to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine to legal entities or individuals upon their requests.
