UNITED24 and the Unbreakable Ukraine Immersive Exhibition Come Together to Raise Funds for Ukrainian Children

To protect a nation's memory is to protect those who will carry it forward. That is the premise behind a new partnership between UNITED24 and Unbreakable Ukraine, an immersive exhibition built to protect Ukraine's cultural heritage — and, through it, to help raise funds to rebuild schools for Ukraine's children.

Unbreakable Ukraine is a powerful immersive exhibition that uses high-resolution 3D scans, cinematic animation, and poetic storytelling to place visitors inside 5 landmarks that define Ukrainian identity, many of which have been damaged by Russian aggression. 

Every scan, every frame of footage, was gathered inside an active war zone. What visitors see is a record of what still stands, and a warning about what could be lost next. 

Unbreakable Ukraine is presented by BORISTENE, and produced by the Italian immersive studio SARAVÁ Project, with the Ukrainian heritage partner digitalization organizations SKEIRON and HEMO Lab. 

The exhibition will make its international public debut at Ars Electronica Festival 2026, one of the world's leading festivals at the intersection of art, technology, and society. It will run September 9–13 in Linz, Austria, then travel in 2026-2027 around global cultural venues 

Every visitor who attends will be invited to donate towards UNITED24's Education and Science program — turning a moment of reflection on what Ukraine has lost into direct support for what Ukraine is rebuilding.

russia doesn't only destroy cultural monuments. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, it has damaged around 4,650 Ukrainian educational institutions; 423 of them, completely destroyed.

Cultural heritage shapes the identity of a nation, and education shapes those who will carry that heritage forward. Ukrainian children, who today study in shelters despite russian strikes and power outages, are the generation that will rebuild Ukraine after the war. They are the ones who will preserve literature from rescued books, restore cathedrals, build places of learning, and safeguard culture.

WHAT YOU WILL SEE

1. Saint Sophia Cathedral, Kyiv

One of Europe's oldest Christian sanctuaries, built in the 11th century. A symbol of the beginnings of Ukrainian statehood and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. On June 10, 2025, a russian attack caused a blast wave that partially destroyed the cornice of the cathedral.

2. Saint George Cathedral, Lviv

The main Greek Catholic cathedral of Ukraine, a baroque masterpiece of the 18th century. Designed by architect Bernard Meretyn and featuring unique sculptures by Johann Georg Pinzel, the cathedral is inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

3. Opera of Odesa

The oldest opera theater in Ukraine, considered one of the most famous cultural monuments in the world. Its architectural style blends Italian Renaissance, Viennese Baroque, and Rococo elements.

4. Chernihiv Regional Library

One of the region's intellectual centers, this regional youth library was built in the late 19th century. On March 11, 2022, it suffered significant damage from russian shelling in Chernihiv.

5. Faculty of Economics, Karazin Kharkiv National University

One of the oldest universities in Eastern Europe, founded in 1804. During the full-scale invasion, it has repeatedly been damaged and partially destroyed by russian missile strikes.
