UNITED24 MODE: 4 Years of the Platform’s Impact

UNITED24 MODE, the summit marking the platform’s fourth anniversary, took place with the participation of the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The summit brought together people who help Ukraine every day: military personnel, medics, volunteers, business leaders, athletes, artists, partners, and our ambassadors. And, of course, it was an opportunity to talk about what matters most to us — the results we are achieving together with you.

Our ambassadors Katheryn Winnick, Liev Schreiber, José Andrés, and Oleksandr Zinchenko came to Kyiv, joined by UNITED24 friends and partners, including filmmaker and war correspondent Mstyslav Chernov. During the meeting with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, they discussed support for Ukraine, shared values, and the importance of international solidarity during the full-scale war.

One of the most special moments of the summit was the recognition of 6 longtime UNITED24 donors from different parts of the world. The President honored them with the Order of Merit in recognition of their years of support for Ukraine. Our ambassadors Katheryn Winnick and Liev Schreiber also received state awards.

“I want to thank everyone who chose Ukraine’s side in this war. I thank all of you that UNITED24, our Ukrainian government fundraising platform, has been operating for the 5th year. A tool that helps Ukraine build thousands of strong and heartfelt connections with the whole world. Over the entire duration of UNITED24's activity, from the founding of the platform in 2022 until today, almost $4 billion has been raised for the needs of Ukraine via this platform alone. Every donation, every manifestation of support for Ukraine from different parts of the world, creates an extremely strong emotional connection with Ukraine — faith in Ukraine, as well as in values that inspire our people to defend in the war and achieve results,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy addressed guests.

Want to see what UNITED24 MODE was like? Watch the full summit online via the UNITED24 Media YouTube channel.

The program featured 7 panels exploring the issues currently shaping Ukraine’s future: Ukraine’s place on the international stage and global support for the country; Ukrainian defense technologies; humanitarian demining; healthcare during the full-scale war; education and the development of a new generation;  the power of culture and personal stories in keeping Ukraine in the world’s focus.

Among the speakers were Sergiy Kyslytsya, Andrii Sybiha, Matvii Bidnyi, and Mstyslav Chernov. Our ambassadors Katheryn Winnick, Liev Schreiber, and Oleksandr Zinchenko also joined the conversations.

Some — Mark Hamill, Scott Kelly, Misha Collins, and Ivanna Sakhno — joined the event online.

And now, to what matters most. Over more than 4 years, UNITED24 donors, partners, ambassadors, and the governments of friendly countries have raised $3,918,919,870 to support Ukraine across 5 areas. Behind this number are millions of your contributions. Big and small. One-time and recurring. Thanks to you, these contributions have become tangible help for Ukraine.

One of the summit’s major announcements was the launch of a new area of UNITED24 — Sports Development, which we will implement together with Ukraine’s Ministry of Youth and Sports.

This new area will help support sports infrastructure, give young athletes more opportunities to train and develop, and create conditions for Ukrainian youth to stay active and pursue sports, even during the war.

We also announced a new charity campaign together with GSC Game World. Together, we are launching a raffle featuring limited-edition S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Cost of Hope collectibles, with the goal of raising $100,000 for humanitarian demining in the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone.

Mines and other explosive remnants of war are still present in the Zone following russian occupation. They pose a threat to people working in the Zone, complicate scientific and environmental work, and can make it harder to respond quickly to emergencies, including forest fires.

At UNITED24 MODE, we showed just part of what we have been able to achieve together. And there is one thing we know for sure: there are many more reasons ahead to come together, collaborate strongly, and help Ukraine move forward.

Thank you for supporting Ukraine.
Thank you for staying with UNITED24.
