Christmas ornaments in the form of a legendary Ukrainian rooster (pivnyk) can be won from today

In Borodianka, Kyiv Oblast, a kitchen cabinet on the wall of a half-ruined apartment building miraculously survived, despite the city being bombarded by russia. On that cabinet was a figurine of a decorative ceramic rooster, which has become a real symbol of Ukrainian resilience.

Christmas ornaments in the form of a legendary Ukrainian rooster (pivnyk) can be won from today

Inspired by this symbol and the upcoming holidays, we have created a unique Christmas ornament inspired by this very rooster. It has already decorated major Christmas trees in the United States, NATO Headquarters in Belgium, France, Germany, Estonia, the Netherlands, Japan, Latvia and other countries. We want the Ukrainian rooster to become a protector of your well-being, as well! This сhristmas tree decoration will be a powerful symbol of your support, Ukraine’s gratitude, and our unity.

You cannot buy a rooster, but you can win one for a donation of $24 or more towards the Education and Science program. We will raffle off 10 roosters: one large and 9 small ones (23 cm and 15 cm). All funds raised will be used to build shelters in Ukrainian schools. The number of contributions is unlimited. You can enter the raffle up until December 25, 11:59 p.m. (EET).
