Elina is raising funds to rebuild an apartment complex at 53 Kyivska Street in Irpin.

"We were in Irpin and Bucha. We walked the streets and saw what happened to these cities, to the people who live there. It was devastating."

Before the full-scale invasion, the building was home to mostly young families with children. Now, the playground in the courtyard is empty, and about 100 families cannot return to their damaged apartments; 37 apartments have been burned to the ground entirely. The fundraiser is nearly over — just 127,000 euros remain.
