The UNITED24 Fundraising Platform Turns One Year Old: Key Results and Fundraisers

Funds raised via UNITED24 have allowed designated ministries to purchase 176 ambulances, hundreds of  units of medical equipment,, and ammunition for Ukrainian defenders;  the first mine-clearing vehicle was brought to Ukraine; over 3,839 UAVs / UAV complexes were contracted;  11 bridges in the de-occupied Mykolaiv and Kherson oblasts were rebuilt;  the world was introduced to the first Fleet of Naval Drones.

"We conceived the UNITED24 platform as something that would unite the entire world around helping Ukraine. After a year of work, it is safe to say this endeavor proved to be successful. Millions of people, from over a hundred countries, support our country via UNITED24. On this day, we once again express our gratitude to all platform donors, whose contributions save, restore, and protect people's lives, while bringing Ukraine's victory closer," said the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

So far, 15 star ambassadors have joined the platform: singer and actress Barbra Streisand, actors Mark Hamill and Liev Schreiber, actress Katheryn Winnick, Imagine Dragons, Creative Director of Balenciaga Demna, director Michel Hazanavicius, astronaut Scott Kelly, historian Timothy Snyder, entrepreneur Richard Branson, country singer Brad Paisley, adventurer Bear Grylls, as well as famous Ukrainian athletes, Elina Svitolina, Andriy Shevchenko and Oleksandr Usyk.

"Over the course of a year, we implemented over 50 large goal-oriented fundraisers and formed more than 100 strategic partnerships with the world's most famous companies, together with UNITED24," said Mykhailo Fedorov, Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Development of Education, Science and Technology, Minister of Digital Transformation. "But the main thing is that UNITED24 has become a convenient digital tool for donations from people across the world. The platform also gave an impulse to the Army of Drones, a strategic government project that currently affects the course of events on the front."

The world's first Fleet of Naval Drones became one of UNITED24's biggest goal-oriented fundraisers. Over 500,000,000 UAH has been raised for drones that change the rules of the game at sea. ‘Azovstal. A Symbol of Perseverance' and 'SOLEDARITY. Ukrainian Rock-Solid Strength' are two other major campaigns by the platform. The total circulation of bracelets from the last pre-war batch of Azovstal metal amounted to 100,000 pieces, which have been delivered to 44 countries worldwide. This allowed nearly 300,000,000 UAH to be raised, strengthening the country's defence capacity. Thanks to a limited batch of ARTEMSIL from Ukraine's Soledar mines, more than 58,500,000 UAH has been raised towards attack drones for Ukraine’s intelligence officers. 

UNITED24's C-type ambulance fundraiser became the largest campaign under the Medical Aid program. Thanks to international businesses and donors from across the world, over 460,000,000 UAH has been raised. Another 655,802,973 UAH has been raised for the Rebuild Ukraine program.
