Hospital in Kharkiv Region Restored After russian Strike

A hospital in the Kharkiv region has been restored thanks to the support of UNITED24 donors and partners, as well as the Consulate General of Ukraine in Chicago through the C Ukraine Cultural Showcase project.

On September 9, 2022, a russian missile struck the hospital grounds, shattering nearly 1,000 windows and doors and leaving an 8-meter crater on the premises. Despite the damage, the hospital never stopped working.

Today, the facility has been renovated, equipped with modern technology, and now operates a rehabilitation unit and a mental health center. The city and its surrounding communities once again have access to full medical care and support.
