UNITED24 platform has raised more than $500 million to help Ukraine: key results from a year and a half

This week, the amount raised via UNITED24, the official fundraising platform of Ukraine, exceeded $500 million. Funds are being were raised in five directions: Defenсe, Medical Aid, Rebuild Ukraine, Education and Science, and Humanitarian Demining. The platform is currently supported by donors from 110 countries, alongside qlongsi and 24 ambassadors.

Thanks to the platform's partners and donors, we have already managed to rebuild 22 bridges destroyed due to russian aggression. We also completed a fundraiser for UAH 719,000,000 to restore 18 residential buildings in Kyiv Oblast. Thanks to UNITED24 ambassadors Imagine Dragons and the platform's constant partner Aurora retail chain, the dream of 15-year-old Sashko, who was the main character in the band's Crushed music video, came true. Sashko's home was destroyed by russian invaders, but these days hethe boy is moving his stuff to his new house, which was built for him from scratch. Thanks to UNITED24 donor s' contributions, the construction of Ukraine's first Mine Action Center was also funded, where sappers miners will receive certified training as well as Ukrainian and foreign companies will receive licenses for humanitarian demining. This is an important step towards the restoration of peaceful life in the de-occupied territories.

191 C-type ambulances and 13 armored medical evacuation vehicles, 659 generators for hospitals, as well as 35 transport ALV machines and 28 ALV machines for children, 83 anesthesia machines, 22 X-ray surgical C-arm machines, 14 ultrasound machines -are just some of the equipment purchased for the medical system of Ukraine. Thanks to donor support, the X-ray department of the Chernihiv City Hospital and the Chernihiv Medical Center of Modern Oncology were also restored.

As part of the platform's defence fundraising, 5,642 UAVs, 36 naval drones and 117 special vehiclescars, 20 night vision devices and thermal imaging cameras, 48,189 units of body armors, 75,044 sets of uniforms and much more were purchased. The world's first fleet of naval drones, launched thanks to donations, is a unique project that changes the warfare doctrine at sea and makes russians fear for their ships.

Among the platform's donors are people from 110 countries, as well as Uber, Bayer, Virgin Group, JYSK, Glovo, Cargill, Schneider Electric, Spotify, Mécénat Servier Charity Fund, SkyUp Airlines, Pandora Jewelry, monobank, UKRSIBBANK, AWT Bavaria, InterChem pharmaceutical company, ANC pharmacy chain, Grammarly online platform, Ukraine National Football Team, Shakhtar and Dynamo football clubs, and the NAVI e-sports organization.

In 2023, country singer Brad Paisley, businessman Richard Branson, philosopher and economist Francis Fukuyama, actress Ivanna Sakhno, Nobel laureates Paul Nurse, Edward Moser and May-Britt Moser, British actor Mark Strong, footballer Oleksandr Zinchenko, and chef José Andrés joined the team of ambassadors.
