06.03.2023 · Announcements
After ten months of work at UNITED24, $293,074,746 has been raised to support Ukraine.
In February, UNITED24 worked extensively with celebrities: for the first time, Elton John supported our medical direction with a donation, more than 40 world celebrities recorded an appeal in support of Ukrainians, and two new ambassadors joined Rebuild Ukraine - actress Katheryn Winnick and director Michel Hazanavicius. He visited Kyiv, along with another ambassador of the platform, Elina Svitolina.
The VIKINGS star, Oscar winner, and famous tennis player have opened their own fundraisers for the restoration of apartment buildings on Kyivska and Davychuka street in Irpin. A total of 550 million UAH has already been raised for the Rebuild Ukraine program.
Five big fundraisers were closed via UNITED24 within a month — ‘Shaheed Hunters’ with Timothy Snyder, the rebuilding of the Champion Stadium with Andriy Shevchenko, #LightUpUkraine for generators to power Ukrainian hospitals, and two parties of drones for the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The key UNITED24 project in February was ‘Strength. Ukrainian rock-solid’. Together with ARTEMSIL SE the platform presented a limited batch of the legendary ‘ARTEMSIL.’ 465 UAH from each pack will be used to buy drones for the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.
Thanks to donations from Uber, UKRSIBBANK, Grammarly, NAVI, UNITED24 ambassador Scott Kelly, and donors from all over the world, 20 new Type C ambulances were delivered to Ukrainian doctors. 392 generators were also delivered to hospitals in 18 oblasts of Ukraine, as well as 140 drones going to the hottest areas.
