I am sending this letter from Georgia with immense love for Ukraine and the Ukrainian people. Not a single day has passed during these more than 500 hellish days of war without Ukraine being in my thoughts—and in the thoughts of my family.

We are with you until the war ends, and we will be with you after Ukraine’s epic victory. I have already started learning Ukrainian, learned several Ukrainian songs, and made wonderful Ukrainian friends. I am deeply in love with the courage of Ukrainians, your captivating culture, and your moving history of resistance.
