It has been 100 years since my family came to America from Odesa. When the full-scale invasion began, I prayed every day, holding my breath, that Kyiv would not be captured. Since then, I have advocated for Ukraine and argued that America must be responsible in providing assistance. I will continue to support Ukraine. It must be free and protected from Russia, because Ukraine is the front line of Western democracy and freedom.
