American actor Hilary Swank has won two Oscars and two Golden Globes. Throughout her career, she has starred in dozens of world-famous films and TV shows, such as Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Insomnia, Beverly Hills, and P.S. I Love You. Her best performances include boxer Maggie Fitzgerald in the sports drama Million Dollar Baby, and Brandon Teena, a transgender man in the biographical film Boys Don't Cry.

On February 24, 2024,  the second anniversary of the full-scale war in Ukraine, Hilary Swank joined three dozen celebrities, recording an appeal in support of the Ukrainian people for the UNITED24 platform.

At the end of May 2024, the American actor joined UNITED24’s team of ambassadors. The announcement was made by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, at The Power of Unity Summit in Kyiv.

For over two years, Ukraine has been suffering from a cruel, brutal and unjust russian invasion. Peace and safety for the people of Ukraine is a must, and we should help them achieve this. I stand by the people of Ukraine, and I invite you to join me,

the actor said in a video message on social media.

Hilary Swank will be supporting the Medical Aid program together with her fellow UNITED24 ambassadors, including singer and actor Barbra Streisand, astronaut Scott Kelly, President of the Ukrainian Football Association Andriy Shevchenko, and actor Liev Schreiber.

In two years, the UNITED24 platform has raised almost 2 billion UAH towards Medical Aid. These funds are being used to rebuild hospitals, purchase ambulances, and fund medical equipment, including C‑arm X‑ray machines, ALV devices, operating tables and microscopes. However, the full-scale war is still ongoing. So any contribution you can make is of great importance — make your donation here.

Support Ukraine during this pivotal moment.
